Carpets are rolled and layered with white paper to avoid dirt and grit from penetrating the pile. Two labels are made out, one is taped to the paper on the inside and before rolling it up and the other is attached to the outside.
The wrapped carpet is tied with twine in 2 or 3 places and is then wrapped in “tuff wrap”. If bound for storage, it will go into our dedicated carpetstore, which is treated with naphthalene.
